CD Players, ………

Filed under: article — aurojit @ 1:34 pm

CD players have become synonymous with music, though unlike ze record players, 8 tracks and cassette players of old they r nething but sturdy….. I have an old CD player from Sony, one my parents acquired from a customs officer at a time when CD players were novel and rare to come by (at least in India) and high import duties made it impossible to bring one into ze country legitimately…. Some years back it started having problems playing back stuff which inspired my dad to go out and buy not one but two cd players, a CD changer form Harmon Kardon and a CD Player from NAD…. Ze NAD is underused and kept in a place well protected from dust, while ze Harmon Kardon is r regular beast of burden, and is kept in a pretty open well ventilated and easily accessible place, and umm this makes it more susceptible to dust which is y ze Harmon Kardon has stopped reading a few CDs, and umm well despite frequent encounters with the head cleaning CD its reading capabilities aren’t exactly improving, which means zat its eventually gonna end up with me…. THough sadly previous experience with most of these declining CD players has taught me that they never really improve irrespective of whatever someone does to help them, which is kindda sad ‘coz this was a reallllllllllllly cooooooooool CD changer…......

Todays been bad, with ze chimps making it impossible for me to stay online for ne length of time, a lack of nething to put into zis entry (writers block has finally hit me), and with a half-a-dozen universities which I believed were on a rolling admission system telling me that they r gonna be sending me decisions in early-April and no earlier. Sad

Ze Panda
off to nurse his writers block…..
