Umm me had gone off to a lunch yesterday afternoon hence ze missing entry….. Lunch was cool, with lots of chinese stuff which tasted real nice, and was courtesy one of my dads students, who just ended up as a PhD. which is cool, ‘coz she had worked hard for it…... Hmm unfortunately though she’s a part of ze Indian army and was merely on study leave, which means she’ll be going back to ze army, unlike most of ze other students who have ended up in universities and at NIH....... Though all ze same she’d worked hard for it, so its gr8 zat she finally has it…..

A friend of mine has written abt ze Bhagvad Gita’s influences on ze Matrix which is a pretty cool entry, except for ze fact zat I never really paid much attention to my parents when zey tried teaching me all abt ze Bhagvad mostly ‘coz they were trying to teach me something, and umm for some strange twisted reason I resent being taught, preferring to teach myself instead and form my own opinions which is y ze harder someone tries to teach me, ze harder I try to avoid learning, and hence I never really learnt nething abt ze Bhagvat, except for ze concepts of Atman and Bhraman which I got off of a Tom Clancy book (umm it was Ruthless.com I believe), and abt 4 shlokas which I really loved (ze ones which go somewhat like Karmaneyav Wadhikaraste Ma Faleshu Kadachan Ma karm fal hetur…, Yada yada hidharmasya glanir bhawati bharata abhyuktanam adharmasya tadatmanam srijhamyam paritranaya sadhunam vinashaya ch dushkritam dharma sansthapna arthaya sambhawami yuge yuge….., and two more, ze first one btw means zat work is ze only thing u truly have claims not its fruits and therefore u shud work without caring much abt what u get in return, and ze second says zat whenever evil raises its head and ppl r troubled, then to protect ze good, destroy evil and bring back peace and prosperity, god shall take from and come on earth and so on) and learnt in sanskrit in 10th grade (though I never was ne good at ze subject their r a few shlokas I do remember becoz of their rhythmic nature).... Ze point to remember is that hinduism much like most other religions does proclaim and teach a lot by wars, and though it generally preaches peace, and we r usually a peaceful ppl, most Gods and Godesses showed their Goddly strengths by waging war….. In fact Vishnu whose supposed to be one of the main Gods is said to have take 10 forms and arrived on Earth in each of these forms (these include that of a half lion-half human named Narsimha, Krishan probably ze most famous of his forms, and Jagannath who is ze main God for ppl of my region & probably the only multi-religious Gods in hinduism ‘coz scriptures from my region of India say zat one of his disciples was a muslim)..... Ze Gita in itself is a piece of work which ze Gita itself proclaims was written by Krishna, who was in essence Vishnu whose supposed to be ze maintainer of harmony on Earth (three main Gods, Bhrama the creator, Vishnu the maintainer who aids in both creation and destruction, and Mahadev the destroyer)...... Hinduism is philosophical however most of what I have told u has been garnered off from what remains of my sanskrit education, so it is liable to be wrong, but ze Jagannath part is definitely correct, though since I never really underwent a ceremony essential for ppl of my cast and supposed to be a second birth for us (we’re supposed to be born twice, once from r mothers when we come into existence, and once when we take on r duties infront of God), I m not really sure abt whether I am a part of ne religion or not since I hardly ever step into a temple, though I do pray sometimes, guess I currently have no religious status…...

Frequent day dreaming and a sudden love for Xgrid has forced me to rethink abt one of my olddddddddd projects and come up with a new one, which is not bad for a day….. Beginning with ze old one, if u go to ze subnet on which zis blog is situated, ud run up against something called ze intuition project, which like most of my projects is unfinished though can be finished pretty soon, umm except for ze fact zat Im somehow uninterested, don’t have enuf systems and umm in a pandaish sort of way am crazy…. Sometime bak some guy who heads MITs AI Lab (ya I know I m afraid of MIT in itself, though I m not afraid of its labs and their ppl) mentioned on Wired zat AI was dead ‘coz no one seemed to be concentrating on giving computers common sense, which at ze end of ze day is what mostly defines human intelligence and ingenuity… Now ze closest neones ever come to making something like ze brain on a computer is to build a neural network, which then has to be trained for specific tasks, and well neural nets r pretty commonly used in a lot of business transaction and prediction software which is y it is very likely zat ze stock prediction someone gives u was made on a neural net rather than in some guys head…... Now what ze intuition project aimed at was to give computers intuition, ze power to adapt to particular situations and learn abt ze world as it exists, in essence I planned to build multiple neural nets which compete among themselves for learning how to survive in a new environment, and then the most successful ones reproduce by passing thru a genetic algorithm (umm I know it sounds crazy but so do most of my ideas).... Now my original plan involved me going out and making networkable neurons and connecting them and doing all of zis shit, however with Xgrid I cud build a plugin and a single program which acts as a neuron and run this on multiple computers, with ze environmental simulation running on another computer, while this doesn’t really reduce computational time, it does immensely reduce ze amt of effort zat I have to put in….. However for those of u who r hoping to c something like zis netime soon, well forget ‘coz I ain’t gonna do it (umm actually I’m gonna start on ze project but I know I m gonna abandon it mid-way thru so it doesnt make sense for me to tell u zat Im gonna do it).........

As for ze new one, well it simply involves making a server cluster on top of Xgrid, something zat I think can be easily done and in my opinion wud be a real boost to apple sale of Xserves, though its unlikely zat its gonna happen netime soon….....

Ze chimps tried verrrrrrrry hard to conspire against me today, though unfortunately for zem zey failed, ‘coz I had different which zeir conspiracy ended up helping rather than destroying…... Umm see some chimp destroyed something in my local electricity distribution point thus rendering a blackout for 4 hrs, however me had already planned to have grilled meat, and me dads friend was already here, so we kindda took ze angeethi outside and had grilled meat under ze stars, an experience reallllllllllly worth having….... Though I did discover a few things abt melting points of metals. Umm never burn charcoal in an aluminum container without putting some amt of sand at ze bottom, ‘coz if u do ze aluminum is gonna melt, and leave nice soldery looking pieces on ze ground, not a very pleasant site…...... Seems zat charcoal reaches extreeeeeeeeeeeeeeemely high temps which aluminum doesn’t like…........... Not good me say not good….....

P.S.: I checked ze book was Ruthless.Com and ze terms atman and bhraman along with an explanation r used by both Max & Kristen, though me says ze Wordsworth poem which ends up engraved in Max’s grave can in itself compensate for a book which unlike many of Tom Clancy’s other books doesn’t really proclaim something new and frightening…..

PPS: The Wordsworth poem goes something like:
O joy! That in our embers
Is something that doth live,
That nature yet remembers,
What was so fugitive.

Umm if u didn’t get what it was abt I suggest u go contact ur english teacher, and umm for those who say its only abt death, the spirit of ze poem is represented by a lot more than death, for example photography where u record a moment, a moment which is fugitive yet beautiful enuf to be remembered….....
