Today is a holiday for some, as is tomorrow….... U c within today and tomorrow there is supposed to be one hugggggggggggge hindu festival, a festival for which some states in India get holidays, and well holidays r what eventually define the size of a festival….. Saddly though no one know when ze festival is ‘coz the government calendar guys screwed up, they said its tomorrow, then someone else, someone with a lot more power over these matters said its today, and since some damn chimpish committee which decides matters of pay and holidays said that u can’t have two holidays for one festival, ppl r confused abt when the holiday is….. Which is y a lot of my friends have a holiday today, and a lot of them have a holiday tomorrow, though from what my mommy tells me the thingee is on both days since the moon appears in the same phase for sometime on both days, which is kinda confusing…....... I have a gut feeling that whoever was working what festivals r when was a werewolf and hence his love for something as inaccurate as the moon….....

I submitted my second guide entry to H2G2 today, and while I am less certain abt this being accepted for the Edited Guide, mostly ‘coz its a more specific entry (on the F3), but still it’ll be interesting to c how ppl there take it…..

I have been wondering if u guys have ever gone thru a conversational cross connect while chatting, u know the thingee when all of a sudden ur talking abt one thing and then some guy mentions something completely out of context and umm both the original conversation and the new one get cross connected so that everyone’s confused abt whats happening…... I have been running into that a lot over the past few days, almost everyone whom I have been chatting with during ze day has managed to get me into a conversational cross connect, so I m ready to bet ze fault was mine, but still all zese cross connects have kindda unnerved me….... Umm well ok I do like shooting from ze hip, but conversational cross connect is something a lot more different than shooting from ze hip, its something that truly completely confuses me and as a panda I definitely don’t like being confused….......... Which is y I propose one of two solutions to conversation cross connect on IMs, one being zat all IM clients include a little button which lets u assign a new color to every thread of conversation, so zat when u start off, u use one color and that continues until u find something new to discuss and then change the color for that, and so on, so that u can always figure out which thread of conversation a particular comment emerges from…... Or ppl shud start using XML notation tagging their speech with tags such as ...... and using diff tags for each thread, so that I can keep all of them separately and I won’t have to try and figure out what ze other guy means….........
