Another very good friend of mine has mentioned that I say zat ze Graphics Installer is faster than ze text installer…... Well firstly I am a fan of text installers so I didnt say nething like zat, in fact my exact words were: “so believe me text install is much easier, and way more elegant and faster than it sounds”, and even this in no way constitutes a speed competition, since I can’t do nething objectively, though for me text installs have always been faster than graphical ones…..... Secondly the last version of Linux I installed was RHL 8.0 post which I had pretty much decided to shif to Macs, and well I will still maintain zat Mac OS X is more mature, and has as many utilities and packages available as Linux, in fact most Linux packages have been successfuly ported to Macs….. That being that, I installed Linux a little befor Mukul did (late 1998 or early 1999) and well it had been one heck of an experience for me, so I wud recomend that ppl try it out….....
