It’s really easy. RI state tax is probably taking a lot of the money considering that this is a very democratic state. In SC, taxes were much less than in MD for the reason that SC is so much more republican. As long as you’re working legally (and you must be if taxes are being taken out), you can file taxes and it more or less works out like the gov’t is keeping some of your money so you don’t go out and stupidly trickle it all away. Of course, you’ll never get Social Security money back, but you can get the rest and it’s always nice to get several hundred dollars back at the end of the year from the state gov’t and several hundred dollars back from the federal gov’t. I’m fairly certain you won’t be making enough money to actually owe any taxes. Don’t let them steal your money.<br /> <br /> Don’t lose your W-2’s when they get sent to you! I think it’s somewhere under the Edit menu. The exact menu option is Check Spellings As You Type. So yes, Safari and TextEdit are included.
